GG: Eagles Fall To North Montgomery

The North Montgomery Chargers traveled south to Putnam County August 14th and returned with a dual meet triumph over host South Putnam. The Chargers posted the 196-204 victory at Oak Ridge Country Club. They will contest another West Central Conference foe this coming Monday with a match against Greencastle.
Emily Williams led North Montgomery by firing a 43 which offset the same score from South Putnam’s talented Heather Hughes. The two tied for medalist honors. The Chargers seized control at the #2 position where Miranda Pettit shot a 45 versus the 49 of the Eagle’s Grace Acre. The #3 players once again tied with South Putnam’s Kelsey Searles and the Chargers’ Sam McAllister both firing 53s. North Caitlyn White rounded out the Chargers’ scoring with a 55, while Sarah Dotson carded a 59 for the Eagles.
